Dohcgarage Header Test
You mean, sanding it down with a grind wheel, right? That's what I'm planning to do.
Again, I don't think I have any other issues with it, all the pipes line up well, and no flush / mount issues to be seen.

People with this header on please dyno it~ I would really like to see how does it compare with Comptech and DC.
P.S. I read the first page dyno from JDMxxx, but I want another consumer review~ THX

I am out of town for a few weeks and all of my plans are on hold, but the pictures by ComptechTSX are pretty much exactly what mine looks like. I still promise to dyno before and after to make up for the delay...but it will be October now.

Youre not going to get overnight results here, people here are in for the long haul.
Preliminary evidence here and sales suggests the product works well. Actual dyno numbers may be hard to come by, especially from just stock to new header, since people who dyno tend to dyno groups of mods, not just 1 by 1 which doesnt make financial sense.
If you want something done, do it yourself! I dont mean to sound harsh, but its not like youre offering to pay for my dyno time.

Here's a pic of mine (I really don't have any problems with it other than the rough inner edges).
Quality control be damned if this thing dynos well for me.
Lastly, the one with the rough edges I'll tackle:

same here... I got no money for the dyno now, so if you guys all chip in, I can do it. Just keep in mind, I have Injen CAI and Random Tech cat in addition to this header. I'm not sure what the dyno charge is, but there's Mother's Perf. shop few blocks away and I heard they charge about $60 or something. So if you are really serious and are willing to pay for it, I can find out exactly. But I just dont have money to spend for dyno right now. BTW, as far as credibility, I'm not very active here, but on the other forum I'm Peregrine. I'm sure most of you know me there.

had it for about a month. Installed it together with the Random Tech. cat. The quality is good, although I can see like a thin rusty discoloration on it, but that's probably the way stainless steel gets, cause I saw Comptech stainless steel and it looked similar. The fit is very good, although you have to be careful when mounting the sensor, beacuse it's very close to the frame, the way it's angled. So you have to install the sensor before tigtening the rest of the header. I can also sense more mid-range pick-up power now.

it should give the hp of header ......even though the # would be affect by the intake but shouldn't be too much

The result will tell you how a part performs with your particular setup. The same part may not even yield the same results on different cars.

OK, got my car ready and have some time when I am not traveling, so I am baselining stock on Wednesday this week, and should have the header installed and re-dyno'd by the second week of December.
