Does anyone run Redline 5w-20 ?

Does anyone run Redline 5w-20 ?

Just curious if any runs this oil and what they think of it. Thanks.

I have heard good things about it, but don't run it myself...

I asked my maintenance guys to use it and they refused.

I thought the manual said to use 5W-30.

The Redline 5w-20 has a HT/HS (High Temp High Shear) of 3.3, which is equivelant to most 30wt oils. This is very impressive for a 20wt oil. In other words, Redline's 20wt oil will protect as good as Amsoil and Mobil's 30wt viscosities under high stress conditions.

That's true, it's as good as 30wt for high stress conditions, but what about the 90% of the time that you're not on the track or at redline? Does it protect as well as a 30wt?

Bah... just use amsoil and call it a day.
