Can one person take the front bumper off or is it a two person job? I'm about to install the intake and don't know if I want to go with remove bumper or the jack up car/remove tire/fenderwell route.
-Thanks

Not necessary but it does make the job easier. If you do decide to remove the bumper, be sure to have a friend so you don't scratch it.

Most people just go through the fender and the front foglight opening. Be sure to have a 10mm ratcheting box wrench if you go with that method because it's pretty hard to get to the front bolt.

I went through the fenderwell...The only reason you would take off the bumper is easier access to that "bitch" bolt that holds the resonator on. Other than that it is completely unneccessary.

If you can get that bolt off without taking off the bumper, then don't take it off. Not worth dropping, or scratching the bumper. Or breaking the clips that hold it on.

Bought one at Sears last weekend.

I used the fender method also. That "bitch" bolt does suck.
I got to it by going through the foglight cover.

I did it by myself and didn't have a single problem. Just pop the bumper a little bit on each side... equally.

After the plastic clips and few bolts were removed from under the car, the bumper literally pops right off. So simple.

Did my intake myself without taking it off. Yes the bolt sucks but it isn't impossible. Didnt take me long and I didn't end up regretting it in the end. If you have fogs then you may be better off removing the bumper though.
