DIY SP spoiler INSTALL

Befor the install there are some steps you want to follow befor adhering your spoiler, I have incuded some pics of the process on my cell phone (didnt have time to get my cam)

stuff you will need

Heat lamp or heat gun
3m "auto Panal" double sided tape
Alcohol pad of alcohol and clean rag

First you want to heat the surface's, trunk , spoiler & tape . You need to do this "FIRST" because of several reasons 1. because it put's the surface's in an ideal temp for good adhesion 2. The heat brings any oils/impurities to the surface making the next step cleaning the surface all the more successful.

Second you want to clean the surface well , I used a alcohol cleaning pad given to me by the painter.

Next you want to test fit the spoiler, and tape off around where it will fit ,this will make it easyer to place the spoiler "BECAUSE ONCE ITS STUCK ITS STUCK FOR GOOD" then put the tape with only one side peeled on the spoiler and test fit again to make sure the tape is actually contacting the trunk.

For the next step you need a second or even a third person to help trust me! Peel the other side of the tape, have one person at eather end of the spoiler and one in the middle too line it up properly, when you get it on all 3 of you need to press towards the trunk at a 45 degree angle and hold in place for a cupple of mins.

Once its on leave the car alone for a while and let it cool normaly for about an hour then clean off the finger-prints with some light wax (remeber the alcohol strips the wax so you need to re apply it)

here are some surface pics

Wow, this turned out really well! I was kind of skeptical when I saw your first thread about it being from some no-name company, knockoff, etc. Props on biting the bullet for us. I will be ordering this spoiler pronto. Looks like it fits even better than the lip spoiler most members on there have.
