difference between tsx and accord euro

Hey Fellow rev heads,

I recently been in contact with CT engineering looking to buy a supercharger kit for my 05 Euro / TSX. I live in Australia, and down under what you have as the TSX, we call the Honda Accord Euro.

CT engineering, says they are happy to sell me the supercharger kit, but without the re-flash.. Reason stated was due to the differences in the cars.

I have imported all my mods for my Euro/TSX from the USA, and all parts have been obviously made for the TSX, and everything just bolted on as if i had 'a TSX'.

I am somewhat confused as to what the difference is? Has anyone an idea?

I have a 2005 Accord Euro 6MT.
Engine is a 2.4 i-vtec K24A3

TSX upgrades already bolted on include;
DC headers
Apexi WSii exhaust
Tein SS coilovers
ACT heavy duty clutch
ACT streetlite flywheel
Lvl 2.9 shafts
hondata intake gasket

I need some HONDA gurus to help on this one!!

Main differences in EDM Accord and USDM TSX are -

brakes , they r a lil bigger in tsx , minor rear optics diff , emblems )) , interior difference, dash , seats a lil , some electronics and so on .

Engine is a lil more powerful in tsx but i think its because the program in tsx ecu . All other internals except 06+ tsx is the same.

EDM ecu isnt flashable by hondata , if you install a SC you need to reflash ur ecu to manage it . U can buy tsx 04-06 ecu and swap with yours , that will solve problem.

If get a 04-06 tsx ecu, will all my electronics still work? VSA, ABS etc etc?

There is Hondata dealers here in Australia that say i can send my ecu to the states for flashing, but just for the hondata mild flash, they want >$1000 USD... I have one on loan atm to test drive with it. Sure is works, lifts redline to 7600rpm and runs a dream. Why so different with the supercharger?

Hold ur horses , man , maybe u r Mr. knowitall but they have diff thickness , EDM 25 or 26 mm , tsx has something like 28 . Ive bought all around discs and pads from tsx and i have to buy tsx calipers to use em . Those calipers r also from diff vendors , EDM cars has LUCAS , USDM CL9 has NISSIN.
EDM also has CL7 car with 2.0 k20z2 engine , its front brakes even smaller then CL9 with k24a3.

For the topstarter - i have kpro dual ecu , it consist of TSX ecu and rsx one vith kpro inside . Everything work well , vsa, abs, tcs and so on , ive lost only my cruise.

So if you buy a used ecu , say from car-part.com , ive picked mine there for 50 bux !! ) , send it to hondata for reflash then match ur immo through official dealer then it will works fine . 1000 bucks for reflash thats insane price, seems that smbdy wanna rip u off.

I'm planning to rebuild the tranmission with different gear ratios and different final gear and I need your advice.

Thanks mate .

So guys if you'll had the chance to change the gearbox ratio what ratios will you choose ?
Please tell me your opinion.

Right now I'm thinking to the following options:
- EDM EP3 gear ratios, and keep the 6th gear ratio (from my OEM gearbox) , or
- new TSX gearbox ratios (or Euro CU2 , tough not sure the gearbox ratio is the same like US TSX)

What do you guys think or what your options will be and why ?
