Did anyone else shower with their INTAKE??

So i ended up taking a shower with my INJEN CAI as I have the blue version, lots of overspray inside the tubes. Much cleaner after giving it a scrubbing with one of those scrubie things with the handles to wash glasses and stuff.

anyone else showered it? May cause a performance increase with the smoother pipes now!

I hope you didn't scratch up the inside cause you might cause flakes to fall off later on and end up in your engine...

yah just something that u can get in there that won't really scratch up the surface.. i used this thing that we have for cleaning tall glasses, doesn't scratch but it'll help remove the loose paint particles in the pipes.

yah i got it on ebay and it was cheap...
if it were a bootleg, i wouldn't care because it was cheap and it looks like the real thing, smooth pipes, clean welds, paint is perfect, injen stamps/logos everywhere from filter, stickers, rubber pieces. Bootleggers wouldn't go to so much trouble to make such a perfect item for something so cheap. it's not a fake gucci or lv bag or something.

Just remember Panda, KY Jelly is not good for the intake head.....And dan...that was honestly one of the greatest posts known to man...friggin halarious....

seriously though, would scrubbing out the inside of an intake help performance, doubt the 15 hp to the ground segment above, but would there be any change in performance?

DOOD, i only used the KY Jelly to help get my cleaning rod in the pipes easier.

i cleaned it because I have a painted Version of the INJEN intake, if you stick your hand or whatever else you want in there, you can see all the loose paint particles come off, it's almost like dust. Rather clean it out with my cleaning rod then have my engine sucking it all in.

The best I can come up with is long curvy penis, but I could be way off.
