uhh. your link took me to a empty shopping cart. i wonder if this thing will make any difference. i know i'm not going to be the first to get it b/c i don't want to be the guinea pig.

anyone hear about new exhaust yet? beside fujisobo or whatever it's called. tanabe?!? greddy?!?

it'll be interesting to see someone get the whole exhaust system redone and dyno or run the quarter mile. i hear some magazine says that the tsx runs 16.0s 1/4 mile times. ouch. oh well.

skunk2 has one listed w/ the date TBD. tanabe is listed for sale on hopup racing.

you'll feel a 10 to 14 horsepower gain over stock as well as increased torque throughout the RPM band
Yeah, I wish. Show me a dyno for that one. BTW: does a header change the tone of the exhaust at all. Not looking for a cat back, but the header is cheap at least.

Oops, :o Here is another site which also has it for a little lower price. You have to add it to the cart to see the discount. I'll give them a call tomorrow to confirm availability.

$330 for the AEM SRI there, what the heck?

*edit* ok its $211 w/ this crazy instant rebate. What's the point of jacking it up beyond reasonable to give a rebate.

It's confirmed!

Okay, I just got off the phone with DC Sports and it's confirmed the TSX header is available as of two days ago. Now, let's go out and search for the lowest price and post here. Perhaps a group buy?

I don't think dyno chart is available for the TSX yet but they do have one for the Accord. Hope they'll have one soon...

wow that's great news! We need to see a dyno though. Stock the tsx header is a 4-1 design(I think with really really short primaries) meaning there is probably a decent amount of low/mid and post vtec power to be gained.

How restrictive is the stock catback exhaust? I'm loathe to install one because of the sound. And it seems to only add 1-3HP.

Anyone think a CAI/header combo will be good w/o the exhaust?

DC Sports header ordered!

I just ordered the header through Adventon for $279.60 shipped from CA. It seems to be the lowest price so far. Can't wait to get on the dyno and see what a CAI and header can do.

Yeah I can't wait until you get the Dyno results. I got teh CAI, Comptech exhaust, and if the headers make a big difference I'll go for them too. That's about all I can do without voiding the damn warranty .

the local shop that i go to, racing zone, said that he would work a deal for a group buy for the dc header, he has to call in on monday, if anyone is interested, maybe i should ask about groupbuy for injen CAI too...

dunno, to be perfectly honest, i doubt doing any bolt on is really gonna do anything performance wise. yea i heard injen 11 hp gain blah blah, but i know guys with i/h/e that don't run that much faster.

but then again, getting bigger wheels isn't yield any power gains either. but whatever, people will always do what they like, and performance isn't a huge area of concenr for me.

so if anyone is interetsed, just reply and i'll get the info on monday.

awesome man! Make sure you get a baseline dyno before the headers! I might be interested in the headers if they give a nice low/mid gain!

racing zone is offering a group buy for the tsx dc sports header for $280 plus shipping.

to find out shipping costs, call brian at racing zone.
407-273-0099, tell him that "zee" told you about the group buy.

and i'm not buying one, and don't want one, and don't know anything more about it, i just thought i would be nice and ask him to do a favor for me..

peace.

the only thing wrong with the dc header is the fact that it is ceramic. i wish it was stainless.

JTSo,

How would you rate your buying experience with adventon.com? Looks like you received the headers with no problems...I ask b/c their prices were really good...looked a little suspicious...

Thanks!

The buying experience with Adventon was very good. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Since it was my first time dealing with Adventon, I called them up and asked how long before the item can be shipped and where it's being shipped from. I thought for sure it's going to be a drop-shipped because the header was just released two days before I placed the order. I was very surprised when the guy said it will be shipped the next day directly from their own warehouse! They must have a huge stock of parts in their warehouse!

by the way, "21_in_az" said that the only thing wrong with DC header is the material ceramic...would that hurt at all!? stainless is better?

thx
