DC Sports exhaust tip is gone....

I'm so confused and pissed right now. I got home from being at the beach for the weekend, get something out of the trunk, look down....no left exhaust tip. completely gone....I have no clue how a welded tip like this would just fall off from the canister. I've had the exhaust for maybe 3-4 years. I have no clue what to do, it looks terrible/ridiculous.

Called DC Sports, were complete assholes and said they could do nothing. Warranty is 1 year, they sell no replacement parts, had no solutions, and said "wow. that shouldn't happen". yea I know, right?!? No help whatsoever

The only thing I thought of was to get 2 universal tips and have them welded on to match. I don't know what else to do

pics coming later tonight.

yea, it's just not there anymore....not sure if it was stolen (which I highly doubt) or it literally just came off while I was driving on the highway.

I haven't even tried but I highly doubt that. It's an aftermarket product that the insurance company doesn't even know about or have any record of.

So I found some universal DC Sports mufflers that are the same dimensions as what I have now. Go to order it online, none in stock anywhere. One of the guys I called actually called DC Sports directly (owned by Pilot now). They said they have none, its been discountinued since '07 and no release date. This guy basically said the company is in shambles and doesn't know how they still exist.

Now I found myself at step 1 again. I was considering buying 2 universal mufflers such as megan, skunk2, etc and having these 2 new ones welded on to the existing system. What does everything think about this? Worth it or try something else??
