DC Headers V1 vs V2
DC Headers V1 vs V2
Hey all,
I'm looking at picking up some DC Headers, but is there any way to distinguish between the first and second versions if I'm purchasing from Ebay? Are they the same Part #? Or can I just assume that any and all new DC Headers sold are V2?
Thanks!

TOV did some dynos a while back and you can search on their site for the results (i think someone's linked it here). i think they're pretty even except the CT-E had marginally better top-end gains.
in the end it's probably the build and the cost that's going to be the deciding factor. the CT-E is more expensive, a one piece, and made with stainless steel. the DC is a 2-piece, made of mild steel and ceramic coated, and costs less for those reasons.
i think someone mentioned that DC headers got sold off from AEM to pilot auto if that matters. and for the CT-E, some people get the vibration (mostly 5AT owners) when the a/c is on or they're in D at a light. but it's not that bad on my auto.
