DC header fix?
ive been reading that dc sports now welds there headers to fix the seperation problem people were having..
if i buy the header from online how willi know that im getting the fixed version rather than a version without the fix?

Well I just received mine today. I too am now curious to see if mine is one of the "fixed models". It's dated 31st of May 2005 so I would've hoped so, otherwise I guess a weld job is in order.

Close enough? On closer inspection it looks like there could be welds that they've blended before applying the rather fragile and easily abraded ceramic coating. I've highlighted in magenta loops what I'm talking about.

I bought it through a trader and member of "the other forum". Wholehyper is his alias. Excellent service and price, he even sent it USPS to keep the cost right down and it was still delivered to Australia in about the same time it would've taken the much more expensive UPS.

My mistake Matell. Yours just look different that what we had to do to get ours fixed before it was installed. The new ones look alot cleaner that just some tack welds thrown on like mine.

comptech is the best imo so far - until the toda comes out.
