Question DC Header or Comptech Header

I saw the thread and both dynos. My logic tell me to go with DC for Power vs. Money but other people told me that Comptech Header is one piece and it will do better flow and torque.
I can buy any of both because money is not and issue.

I already has Injen CAI and Comptech Short Shifter.

Your opinions

Thanks to all

I'd say wait. The car is still fairly new, and I'm sure companys all over are doing plenty of R&D for the car. Kick back, relax, and see who else is gonna be putting something else out.

I agree. I can do a lot of stuff to mine too, but I'm waiting for more body kits to come out, headers, maybe euro tail lights, and of course the awaited chip.

Euro tail lights, you gotta be kidding!

Take a look at the cars who have had Euro tail lights, and you'll see that the plastic covers on these cars are slowly drying, becoming milkier, and yellowing out.

You really want to waste money on a purely cosmetic thing that won't even necessarily enhance your car, and be of cheaper quality above it all, something you'll have to replace in 2 or 3 years from now because it looks shitty?

Isn't the TSX an Euro Accord which already came with Euro tail lights? How much more Euro can it get?

LoL yeah guess your right. Sometimes it gives it a better look, but if there isn't going to be a quality product for it then I might as well stick with the stock tail lights.
There isn't any info on it yet, but I'm sure they'll be releasing them soon.

Euro tail lights arn't my biggest concern and I really don't care if they make them for the TSX or not. The car looks good with the stock tail lights anyways.

I personally also advise DC sport combination header+exhaust that are alreadx avaiable.

If you go on their site they tunned Accord for 26HP with three modification (intake+header+exhaust)

You almost certainly won't see those gains on the TSX. The accord doesn't have the high end VTEC, so the response to mods are different. If you look on the DC sports dynos, the gains are largest at redline for the accord, but that is about when vtec takes over on the TSX.

the DC testing was done on a USDM accord with the k24 that only puts out 160 HP stock. its not as tuned as the k24 that we get in the tsx or your euro accord thus it gives bigger gains.

BTW...By your opinion what is cause for difference between
acura TSX and Europe Acord 2.4 because fo tech specs ? 190 Horse powers on europe specs. and 200 on TSX one ? I've checked compression ratio and t's the same on both ? Is it possible because of ECU mods ?

Someone today also told me that could be also difference because American "HP" are higher than Europe one ?...But I don't think so....

For the money you pay, the gains are not there...basically paying big dollars for a stock replacement part.

I agree with cmf...I had s2000 and Comptech is working on like "cheap" Mugen without extra gains. I'd prefer go to DC Sports/Fujitsubu

They do make a header, but not sure if one is available for our car yet. Actually, I think there is one, it's a matter of getting it. Phase makes one too. Not sure about gains from all that though.

They don't make header for every car. The way they do it is design, make one prototype, test. If it is not worth it, they won't put it in production. That's what I read from a magazine.
