Cusco FSTB adjustibility?

So I just recieved my Cusco FSTB from Mr. HeelToe and while I was checking the package I notice that the plates are conneted to the bar with a bolt, the bar isn't one solid piece. So I was wondering if this bolt will need to be tighten up over time as it will be facing some stress. I was actually able to move the plate around a bit, is this normal for the Cusco FSTB?

I had the same question as you when I installed the bar. You will have to loosen the hex key bolt in order for the bar to fit. The easiest way was to just loosen each side and screw the blue plates on first. Then tighten the hex key after you have the plates secured. I'm pretty sure you wont have to re tighten these bolts

Also, am I suppose to tighten the hex screw (although I don't even know if it's possible) to a certain torque specs. I know that the 3 bolts on the plates are suppose to.

I was told to just hand tighten the hex screws. the ones that mount to the tower were like 32.5 lb/ft though.

That bolt will not come loose over time.....I would not worry about it Like the others said, the 3 piece design makes installation easier, and that bolt is not tightened from the factory.

It stiffens the chasis and therefore improving the chasis response, which leads to an increased in steering response.

It's really easy except on some TSX where you have to bend the AC lines a but. Other than that nothing a wrench monkey couldn't do.

I'd say it is pretty basic. Very beginner job.
