Cusco Front Type-2 Strut Brace

Going to get one of these soon, and was wondering if anyone is running this with a RSB. Pros, cons?

Also going to get the type-S suspension as soon as the weather breaks. Will be running stock 17's in winter, 18's the rest of the time. Will I have to re-align the car each time I swap out the wheels?

Any thought's or comments are welcome.

Thanks guys!

Ken

What's a type-s suspension? Do you mean A-Spec?

You do NOT need to re-align if you're just swapping wheels. Only when you change the geometry of the suspension (I.e. changing the height of your car's suspension).

I don't see the real need for the chasis brace with RSB, FSB, and A-Spec....

There is no "type 2 strut brace", there is a front strut brace, and a lower type 2 (and type 1) chasis brace.

Which are you referring to? I've got both, and they do disapointingly little. They are mostly dress-up pieces.

So, you didn't feel any differences having both braces on the car?

Thanks for the link JTso, just what I was lookin for!!
Reach, I was referring to the type 2 lower. So with the A-Spec and the comptech RSB, this wouldnt make that much difference?

It's a brace. It won't change your car's handling. But it will reduce some chassis flex.

Cool, for the price, and RT. 664 in Southern Ohio, should be a good thing!!

Thanks, guys!! I'll let you know when all this is a go. Leaving in 2 weeks for a cruise in the beautiful, sunny and (best of all) warm Caribbean!!! After that, time to play with the car!!
