Cup Holder LEDs

Anyone thought of putting in LEDs like this? A buddy of mine is thinking about buying an xB and I came across this on Scion's web site.

Thoughts on this? Opinions? It seems like an easy mod...

Don't see the point in a TSX since the cup holder is covered.
Looks sort of alright in the Scion since it's open the whole time.

dont see the purpose of it.. just to make the water bottle cool?? I mean you can only see the light through the clear stuff but what if it was buger king's cup?

I would much rather have a cooled or heated cup mod like a lot of the new 07s have with other vehicles offer now.

That way I can keep my coffee hot and my beer cold

considering this only works when you have some sort of transparent bottle/liquid, i'm not really sure it's worth it.

'i'm sorry, but i don't allow opaque drinks in my cup holders.'
