Comptech SC.... *twiddles thumbs*

Still not available... zzzz

Talked to the dealership this week, still no word from Comptech. My pants are on fire right now, money is burning a hole!

Maybe I'll order the Header in the meantime?

You'll probably want a header anyhow so maybe that will tide you over until the S/C is on the market.

the tsx comptech developed this system on... was it a donor car from anyone on the board or did they go out and buy their own?

dont hold your breath.

like i said back in mid may - i talked to the comptech rep at sema and he had no idea when the S/C would be released.

they have a a tsx with the SC in it - but they are still perfecting it - the computer module that they are using still does not work properly.

not to mention that the aftercooler is scheduled to come out a good 8 months after the release of the blower.

i'm not doubting the performance gains of the S/C - but i am extremely dissapponited at the false promises of all their release dates. i'm also not satsified completely with their exhuast system either.

i'm dying for someone to make a titanium cat back exhuast system for our car so i can dump the comptech.

otherwise - i'll extremely pleased with the header - you can see the quality of it and the performance gains (in addition to that of hondata) is very satisfying.

It's from their own fleet.

The system works so I don't know why it's taking them so long to release it. They last said they were working on a few bugs with the fuel system but you wouldn't think it would take this long...

What don't you like about the exhaust? I'm assuming you have the Comptech header.

I have a rattle from the exhaust too, except it is internal to the passenger side can. Calling them today for a warranty on it. Other than that, mine is perfectly aligned with the exhaust tunnels.

EDIT****

Sounds like we all have the same thing. When I blip the throttle it goes away.

if i turn off the A/C it gets better - but it still rattles.

i'm not going to lie - i'm very dissappointed in the exhuast.

and i do not recommend it at this point in time.

i have not heard anyone complain about the fujisubo and now in hindsight, i wish i would have bought that instead.

Called them today and they are going to replace mine for free. I'm very happy with mine as well as their customer support.

The greddy EVO2 + Injen CAI combination rattles too... It's annoying as hell.
