my girls rsx is plan nasty with the jr kit with all bolt ons with race upgrade i raced a ss camaro last week and beat the hell out of him he did not say a word when we pulled to the next light redneck was speachless...as long as u can get a hondata reflash to read boost then there is always a upgradeable pulley for the superchargers then ,its all trial and error just like on the clubrsx site they were using the tsx crank pulley at first to get 2 more lbs of boost since its bigger then the rsx ,if im not mistaking the safest u can run on a rsx is 11psi with stock internals and put down well over 320 whp , david

The JRSC kit for the RSX-S yielded 32% HP, and 28% TQ gain for the standard kit, and 60% HP, 35% TQ gain with the Hondata setup.

racing zone is being so shady. i was ready to buy the greddy exhauast and the injen cai from them last friday. def. a bad experience and frankly, i'm tired of how they do business.

so racing zone has one less customer now - ME.

i've had enough - my long delay for my wheels - and the complications i had to go to - isn't worth my time.

if i decide to go for the exhaust or any aftermarket items - i'll be looking to use the board vendor, who replies quickly to his pm's. they gave me the same price racing zone did anyway.

the S/C is nice - but i have a hard time justifying spending over 3k for it - considering the tsx will still be smoked by most factory cars with a 30k price tag.

but it is damn nice - i'm anxious to see what kind of deal comptech will give the boads.

my buddy jason duty from speed distributors has been a comptech dealer for a long time - i bought all my comptech stuff for my old car from him - might be a great source for the S/C.

but i've been contemplating getting out of the car scene lately - and the experience last week at racing zone def made me think about it a lot harder.

that sucks, not sure what happened but dont know why they would screw with you since you've been going there for awhile

i thought about getting comptech header, exhaust, and s/c combo but that would set me back about 4-5k and most likely still get beat by the 30k hotrods out there. prolly just save up for something else like i told ya

Send him a PM and see what he can do for you. I've heard he's pretty flexible.

gosh. i can't stop lookin at the pic of the S/C. wish there was a comptech spokesman on here to tell us if the hondata reflash was REALLY required...i'm guessing it would be, so does this mean that hondata is getting close to releasing the reflash!?!?!

i'm tired of waiting!

We are also waiting this S/ C here in Europe :-)) So far all tunning parts for UK Accord are equal as for TSX. Uk Accord Engine is K24A1 and from TSX is K24A2.

if the JR SC is getting 320 with bolt ons and hondata....man that is something to think about...i might just go that route instead of turbo if we can get over 300 whp with just bolt ons hondata and an SC...if i build the motor top to bottom i think i could still squeeze 400 whp out of it with more boost off of a SC...hmmm something to think about

you can only get so much out of a supercharger before the belts are spinning so fast you throw one every hundreds miles. i wouldn't consider a SC for very high HP #'s

well 320 is only 80 ho away from my goal...i wasnt thinking of changing the pulleys just upgrading the internals...If I can keep the belt at the same speed and i can some how get up to 400 with it i might try it...but if its gonna be that hard ill stick with my turbo plans =)

yup, that whole comptech icebox, header, and exhaust dyno was not impressive at all. looks like the deal for comptech header/exhaust is about $1250 + shipping

just get a injen/k&n CAI, and forget about the exhaust and header. the cheapest part gives by far the most hp of the 3 of the IHE

You still need to strengthen your engine to add forced induction to a system not intended for it, right? What does all that involve/cost? And doesn't this just throw your warranty on the drivetrain out the window?

Haha, I'd kill for 144 HP per dollar. $144/HP, OTOH...

jackson racing superchargers are priced alot cheaper then the comptech stuff since comptech knows people will spend the money for the name so they can jack it up high as they want to i personally am going to wait on kieth and mike at moss motorsports(JR) since i know they are excellent with customer service and awesome with trouble shooting and will go the extra mile to make a customer happy with there product , david

i would imagine so. esp. since the S/C always has instaneaous boost (as opposed to a turbo which has to be spooled).

more air = need more fuel. probably need a new fuel pump.

would be nice to strengthen the internals...that's a lot of dough.

It depends on the engine. A low compression engine can take a lot more boosted w/ building, while a high one can only support so much before frying the internals. We could probably run 8psi of boost w/o strengthening anything (although I don't know over the life of the car). But running some crazy 20psi stage 3 kit from cybernation would definately require building. And I'd assume it'd void nearly everything on the powertrain.

Just imagine the sound of an electric drill at full power. I'm serious. That's what a rooter SC sounds like!

go on www.clubrsx.com and go in the boost forums and u can hear all kinds of superchargers anywhere from 5psi all the way to 9 maybe even 11 psi it gets louder the more boost u run since the blower spins more making a whine like a jet engine

cybernation is coming out with a turbo for the tsx sometime soon.. plus i heard good things about the 'guardian' (on clubrsx.com) that they are testing right now... which may be an alternative to comptech's supercharger or JRSC if that comes out..

as long as they work the bugs out of the guardian there kits will be really nice and safe ,im still going to go with jrsc just for the simple fact that there customer service is beyond great and if u have any intrest in a upgrade they will look into it for u and see if they know how to go about doing what to get the best hp the safest way ,also on another note cybernation people are very nice too either one of those 2 would be great as long as the bugs are worked out on them
