Comptech Ice Box & Rear Sway Bar

I was going to order them through rice shop I go to and after calling Comptech Direct, they got a answer back saying that those parts are all out of stock and it is backordered for next one and a half months. Where could I order them for cheaper that might actually have it in stock?

I purchased mine for $125 shipped (since I'm in the Westcoast). $115 shipped if you are located w/ in the Eastcoast. (*for the sway bar that is) I'm pretty sure he has the icebox in stock as well.

I believe Excellerate is still doing the group buy. Go to Off Topic / Black Market and you'll see. Otherwise, Acura of Lynwood on eBay.

I purchased both from Acura of Escondido but it looks like they're not selling on eBay at the moment.

I bought mine from this acura dealer via ebay. Acura of Excondido. user name: aofeparts .

I purchased the icebox for $170 that's with CA tax (I live about 90 miles from them)
The intake itself is $150 the cheapest I've seen. Shipping is additional $8. So for you guys that lives outside Cali it'll be $158 shipped. I believe the RS is $105 and $10 for shipping.

I just checked his site, the dud is on vacation and won't return until the 10th.

Sorry.
But in case you want to wait for this guy here's the link....

Hope this helps

Even though the retailers say they have the parts in stock sometimes they may not. I waited two months for my Comptech strut tower bar and I ordered from Acura of Escondido. A lot of the retailers get the parts at wholesale prices and don't mark them up as much as Comptech sells them for directly, but the parts are still drop-shipped directly from Comptech USA. In other words AofE or Lynnwood may have auctions for some stuff but they don't necessarily have it in their possession. If Comptech doesn't have it, they won't either.

Yes. The RSB rules. Best bang-for-buck mod you can do to the TSX short of maybe a CAI. Body roll in corners is greatly reduced. The car takes onramps like spider man. You'll want to drive it like you stole it.

Adjusts camber.

(when you lower a car, you get more negative camber -- top of wheels tilted inwards. This is bad for tires and handling. Camber kits will adjust the wheel back to semi-normal to save your tires, make the drop look better, and regain your performance.)

This is quite inaccurate. Camber is actually beneficial to handling. It is also not that bad on tires. Toe out of adjustment is a tire killer. Camber, if the tires are rotated regularlly, is not that hard on tires (even at more than -2 degrees of camber).

This isn't to say that camber doesn't wear tires just that there are larger factors at play (Toe). It is to say that camber is beneficial to handling if measured appropriately. It benefits cornering and tire wear if the proper amount is put in. Camber will even wear out in hard cornering and keep temperatures across the tire even.

Thre aren't any special tools needed. Its a pretty straightforward install. Check out joerockt's thread in DIY and just follow his directions. That's what I did.
