$510 shipped from Excelerate!

I believe that he is an authorized Comptech Vendor, but you should double check with him to ensure you'll get the warranty.

Same vendor and got mine for $500 shipped back in November.

As mentioned, we have some great board vendors as well.

Almost snagged one on e-bay.

Just looking for a place to vent.

I got outbid on e-bay by 3 stinking dollars. I really should have paid more attention to the bidding.

She thinks I don't need more mods. But, then, I don't think we need a different set of decorative pillows on the bed in the guestroom. Luckily, she humors me, as long as the price is within reason.

Luckily for me, I could come home with an entirely different car and the wifey won't notice. (I actually did this before -- just as long as it was the same color. ) With that said, I have serious doubt she'll notice a louder growl coming from the hood.

<--- Waiting for better headers to come out.

I was under the impression that the Comptech header (or DC header for that matter) didn't really change the sound that much. I already get a pleasant growl from my Icebox so I don't think the header swap will sound any different. Am I mistaken?

Having had the opportunity to drive JTso's TSX the other day, I can say that I didn't find the intake or headers to be intrusive at all. All this hissing and whatnot I've been hearing about wasn't present. Just the lovely K24 note.

To be fair, he does have a Tanabe exhaust, which tends to overpower all other sounds. I do think people tend to be picky when it comes to the sounds their cars make.

Driving his car has convinced me to go all the way and get a CAI & header setup.
