Has anyone tried the comptech airbox? Are there any significant gains which make it worthwhile?

Does it change the noise of the car, etc?

Any input would be appreciated.

gains arent that significant and most likely little cabin noise if ne not worth it IMO

 

Check out the dyno and judge for youself.

 

it definitely lacks some of the gains that the injen has int he mid range but at the same time doesn't lose the 5lbft or so below 3000 rpms. I definitely don't think it's wroth it, but I bet if you vented the foglight cover you could get another few horsepower out of it across the rpm band. I'm actually sort of pondering it even though I know the gains aren't fantastic. It would stay near stock sound levels which i want and It would be very easy to swtich it back to the stock box for service.
