Cold Air or Short Ram

I think the Injen SC series or the K&N Typhoon Series will probably be your best bang for the buck. Injen doesn't show on their website that they make an intake for 2007 TSX, but I have seen it in various online shops.
After doing a bit of research, I just ordered the Injen SC series for my 2005 TSX. Can't wait to get that on!
A Hondata Heatshield or a P2R Intake Manifold Gasket to reduce heat would also be a good affordable add-on.

Only in locations with flooding issues. Driving through normal rain hasn't been an issue. I'm not certain if all, but I know w/ K&N CAI's, they come with a water repellent screen sock that can be placed over the filter.

Try Ebay they have both at a reasonable price no where near the 150 or more that you will pay for name brand.I have a full cold air intake from ebay. I love it the sound is amazing and only paid 70 for intake and filter, and it fit perfect. Looks good too. I dont think it would make that much of a difference in any gains paying for a 300 dollar weapon R setup than what i have. If there is any differences then it would be very minute. Just my opinion though

Is there any detailed instructions on installing the CT Ice Box? Other than the price, what makes it as good or better than other brands? I'm just wondering myself cause I'd rather install a ram air set up since the snows and rains here are heavy during the seasons. I'm guessing the filter is reuseable. What do you use to clean it?

Yes, Injen, K&N, CT Eng, etc. I think all the aftermarket Intakes come with a reuseable filter. You can purchase air filter cleaner at any of the chain auto stores. K&N air filter cleaner runs about $11 and is useful for about 4-5 cleanings.

So basically, if you run your engine all day while sitting still, you may get worse performance than if you are driving forward, which is the case when you drive. For the average consumer, I can see why a short-ram intake is more efficient both in cost and practicality.

So, I just did what I had linked to ( http://www.sca40.com/intake/ ) and it works pretty well. I bought a $30 cotton cone-filter. It's super easy (phillips-head, 8mm, & 10mm sockets required). I didn't even need to use a piece of PVC pipe because I didn't buy as large of a filter as the writer did. It has a bit of intake 'growl' and feels to me like it pulls better when accelerating. I didn't remove all of the intake piping yet; only the stock intake box. I'll take the rest out if this seems to work well for a short period of time.

I have a HPS SRI. I bought it on Ebay and it's great! I felt a noticeable difference the moment I installed it. And most importantly, I paid half of what most people pay for intakes such as Injen, AEM, etc...
