I just read this of of Logjam's site:

The adapter is compatible with 2003 - 2004 Toyota vehicles that have the new smaller style 12-pin connector in the rear of the radio.

You sure you have the right adapter?

Additionally, it doesn't charge anything.

Okay, that is a different model adapter than you posted. If you go to http://www.logjamelectronics.com and look up the model you posted, it is for a Toyota.

This is a link to the same one you linked to on Logjam: http://store.yahoo.com/logjam/blitzhonauxdmxv2.html

Now, to answer your 2nd question you will need PIE 3.5-RCA6MM which can be found at http://store.yahoo.com/logjam/pie35rca6mm.html to convert the signal to RCA.

Finally, your last question, none of these adapters will charge your MP3 player.

Sometimes it is helpful to post the correct model number of things if you want help.

Yeah, definitely get it for the best price!! I just knew that logjam carried Blitzsafe, SHOND, and P.I.E. stuff.

isn't the blitzsafe dmx v2 for navi only? I'm looking into the same thing since I have a gen 3 ipod, so since it won't charge from the USB cable(to my computer), I figured I'd need to keep it plugged into the cigarette lighter and use an interface for the mini-plug at the top.

I just received the Blitzsafe for iPod unit that still allows use of XM. So far, so good. The XM comes in perfectly clear as does the iPod on CD-C.

I had originally bought the Blitzsafe unit that did not allow XM from enfig.com. I had troubles with it - went through a few models (wouldn't switch over to CD-C), so they suggested I wait for this new version to come out. I swapped it this week for the new version that is compatible with XM. You can check with enfig.com to see if they have the new version. Or better yet, email or call Blitzsafe directly.

Which version is yours?

I have a non-navi also but would also like to keep XM.
