aspec suspenstion installed at dealer.
For those of you who got aspec suspensions installed at the dealers, how much did they charge you?
did they include alignment?
did they include alignment?

$400...Ouch indeed. I think I'd save $400, do it myself and take the risk of Acura not even realizing you have the A-Spec suspension. I did mine with the help of my buddy and you can't really tell the car is lowered by just looking at it. Furthermore, it's a genuine Acura part so you have some credibility there as opposed to having something like a Ground Control sleeve coilover!

Don't worry too much on the warranty. There isn't a whole lot to wear out on a suspension system. The most commonly wear and tear suspension items are shocks. Possibly the ball joints as well if too much negative camber. Suspension arm bushing can wear out too but not because of lowering the car. The only benefit of going to the dealer for the installation is the parts/labor warranty during the warranty period. After that, you are on your own.

So installing the A-Spec suspension yourself or through an independent dealer would mean that you have no warranty on the suspension components, and if the work is done incorrectly, any damage resulting from that would not be covered either.
I paid $300 for dealer install, primarily because it was worth the extra $100 over what a local garage wanted to do it, to keep the warranty intact.

Couldn't have said it any better. With Jtso pricing and quality of work I might have had him do my install if I knew he did custom installs out of his home. If you live in the Seattle area, I highly recommend Jtso as he did my Comptech installs as well as the Hondata Heatshield Gasket.
