not sure how well that would work with outh facing forward since the bottom appears to be the only air inlet

how does that work? does it replace the high flow filter on the original CAI system?

Expandable hose? When I think of expandable hose I think of those bendable straws...picture it? Usually engineers try to keep the intake smooth so the air flow isn't turbulant. (ie port/polish) I wonder if that "bendable straw" type hose is what they're using and how it would affect performance if at all. Either way it should be better than stock...but may not be better than current Injen or K&N CAI setups.

Getting more HP out of this TSX engine is expensive and comes in small steps. I think the most I've seen gained on the top end so far is about 27-30HP after all the usual bolt-on equipment. (I/H/E/Hondata/Hi-Flo-Cat/etc) Haven't seen any dynos here yet that break 200WHP... I'm still undecided if it's worth spending the money to add the mods for 30HP. I think Jackson/Comptech superchargers are rumored to give you 50/60HP when released...if ever....which seems to be a cheaper deal per HP....but forced induction has it's own set of headaches to deal with....especially for a daily driver like my TSX.
