Aerodynamic upgrades??

Front Wind Splitters:
Has anyone considered installing an APR front splitter? I got the idea after looking at DAZZ Motorsports' TSX (http://www.importtuner.com/features/0407it_covercar/). Front end splitters give extra traction and control to the front of the car by decreasing front end lift and exerting downforce on the front tires. I contacted APR and they gave me a quote of $305 + shipping.

Adjustable Wings:
Also what do you guys think about these wings:

*** Hope you own a flame suit ***

I kind of like the splitters, but I personally would not put them on the TSX. The TSX is not a fast car even with mods. I definitely would not put on that spoiler either.

However, it is your car. I assume that you make the payment and insurance premiums, so feel free to put on whatever accessory you like. Style is individual so I would not post asking for opinions myself.

That's not as dramatic as some body kits. also to add, the front splitter is the most efficient way of producing downforce without sacrificing aerodynamic drag, it can actually improve a cars c/o of drag.

I did have a custom APR splitter on my car but had a little accident. It looks good but I swear that thing weigh like at least 10lbs!

Yes I understand that style is a personal preference

Yeah I'm not really sure about the wing either. I just dont want the car to look so box like from the rear side. I defintly dont like the large wing they used in the picture (I dont like oversized wings). However the low prifile small carbon wing might not look that bad. It's still kind of hard to picture in my mind.

Very nice. I've got mine lowered as much as you have your TSX. It looks like your custom skirt is a lot lower than the OEM one. How the hell do you get in and out of parking lots/driveways? Why did you decide not to use the support rods?

10 lbs? Isn’t it just made of carbon fiber?

Hmm, I agree that Lito's looks setup looks sweet.

Have you considered a lip spoiler on the back?

I thought it was too, but actually it's fiberglass with carbon fiber top layer. Did not use the support rods cause I did not want to drill holes on my Mugen kit, but I said I don't have it on the car anymore.

I didn't like the Mugen aero kit at first but is growing on me. I may have to get it. I was hoping that RonJon or somone else would come out with a better one but I Haven't found anything better yet. RonJon said they had no plans to make an Aero kit for the TSX. too bad 'cause their TL, CL, and accord kits are hot. I like the Kenstyle front bumper, but not the rest of it. Maybe I'll mix and match.
I wish Phase still made the lip spoiler, i read that it isn't available anymore.
