AEM needs your TSX 6MT and Auto

I am looking to test fit our intake system on a 6MT and Auto. I would need the car for 2 days on 2 separate days. If you can lend your car email me.

benl@aempower.com

We can work out some compensation, like an intake system once production has started.

Any chance you have a shop in Chicago as well? I would love to help you on this, I miss the CAI I had on my 2000 Accord V6.

What location does the TSX have to be in?

AEM is located in Gardena, CA. Not too far from work! Don't think I can go without a car for a couple of days (split apart). Sucks!

How about half a day each time. We wouldn't need the car overnite.

I'm in san diego a little far, but a quick question. IS aem planning on releasing a long tube CAI as well as a short ram or a srs only? Some of text online indicates SRS only.

SRS for now. SRS makes good power and the motor responds well to the system.

Thanks for the inquiries. Honda was nice enough to donate a car.

I can get you some rotors if you want some Spoon ones. They're great too. Though they won't be a big hook-up like getting free ones for your testing compensation.

Part 2 of the request. About an hour is all I need. 1 hr for an intake is not bad.

It looks like Injen has beat you guys to the punch. I expect to see more than the 11HP Injen claims for my Auto TSX from AEM !!!

Whats is the ETA of the AEM CAI or Stage 2 CAI??

Thankyou

the AEM actually beat the injen by a couple months! HOwever at this point they only have a Short Ram Intake available...no CAI.
Here is alink to the dyno:

So AEMTech did AEM do some research and discover gains that werne't optimal for a long tube CAI? Or are they just keeping something in the bag for later? The injen is a CAI design and the posted dyno is pretty solid with less of a low end dip(almost negligible) than the aem sri.

I knew about the SR from AEM but have really no interest in a SR intake. I presumed he started this thread because they are now testing their TSX CAI application ??

I know but I don't have speakers here at work, I'll check when I go home.

If AEM guy started this thread on July 29 and the SR was available before that, does'nt THIS test have to be for the CAI?

Please inform us AEM Guy.
