why does everyone paint the top of the mugen grille?

do they ever release horsepower/0-60/quarter mile information reguarding those extremely modded cars (track)?

Just noticed the holes they've drilled in the trunk around the latch. They must be looking to save every gram of weight possible.

 

....I thought it was a spaceage spare tire holder.

Does the article talk about what all of the extra hosing and stuff is for?

 

I guess the racing rules are different in Japan. There is no cross bar or diagonal bar in the main hoop of the cage. The way they mount the shoulder harness seems like it's not the optimal for race application.
