where did you get that info?? The higer Kelvin raitng, the less lumens and dimmer the light. Our 4300K OEM equpment is much brighter than crappy HID Kits. These are illegal cuz ricers put them in halogen housings that they are not designed for HID bulbs and scatter them all over the place and glare in your eye. Any HID equipment that is not stock is illegal.

You can't have blue lights on your car, period. If you get caught, the fine is "impersonating an emergency vehicle" and it's exactly the same fine as if you were to be cruising through traffic with a police strobes and sirens blaring. So needless to say, it's not a cheap fine.

Yellow and white are acceptable colors for driving lights.

Shorter wavelengths cause more glare interacting with the human eye than the longer wavelengths do. The retina is much more sensitive to them, so a lower lumen output will appear brighter, even though it isn't. Such is the reason why red lights are used in airplanes and ships after dusk to preserve night vision.

Higher kelvin bulbs only give off less light because the halide salts inside them have been chemically "tuned" to produce more blue/purple output, but since they can't, they cut red/yellow output to bias the light more toward blue...but those red and yellow lines are gone now, and nothing replaced them, so you're left with less aggregate light out.
