2006 MT convert

This evening I secured my 06 TSX carbon gray for $28300 MT NAVI. Can't wait to get her and start the moding...I am so going to miss my 04 5AT.

My first was a '79 plymouth horizon. $4k brand new for a bunch of vinyl and an a.m. radio. How times have changed...

Congrats on the MT TSX, drkabe! You'll love it.

My first car was an ugly, beat up '65 Beetle. Didn't matter that it was ugly, it got me where I was going, and for that I'll always be grateful.

You never forget your first. Happy shifting.

Thankyou guys and gals (if any) and thankyou acurazine for teaching me alot about the TSX...I wouldn't had made this decision without the Parts and Performance Category. Acurazine to me is like surfing for naked ladies...I am always on it and learning new stuff.

The delivery date is April 22nd. Will Post pics asap.

Scotch Guard for leather seats? Isn't it for cloth seats only?

Do you mean 1000 below or above KBB? And by 3M do you mean the clear bra?

Well, you could do it on the carpets and mats. But to have the dealer do it is just plain dumb. Dont know how much the guy paid, but he could have done it himself for $5-10

I miss my AT at times. Much smoother ride overall and I still think its suits the cars personality better than the MT does. not adjusted for exchange.

I ordered my CGP NAVI 6MT way back in February. Was recently told the target production date is April 26. Then up to six weeks for the trip from Japan to the dealership (Connecticut). Dang, what gives here?? How'd you manage to make the deal, and have the exact same car made and delivered in three weeks? I'm guessing your car will be a swap from another dealer?

I tried to hit my dealer up for the finance rate promotion yesterday, but I can't get it because the promo ends May 1 - long before I can take delivery of the car. Aaargh.

Well, I got a call from the dealer yesterday. I can't get the car on 22nd . Mid May was her answer....I was xtremely pissed as I wont be able to get the 2.9% APR. I tried arguing profesionally but APR is only valid upto May 1st. The only choice was a different color...this is the same game I lost when got my 04. This time I will stick to the carbon grey or royal blue.

AAAAArgh....

Do you guys think 3M scotch guard paint protection has no worth? I do alot of driving in the tri state area.

Worthless. Don't bother.

Pay a reputable detail shop to detail instead.
