2005 6MT Comptech Supercharger kit Officially out

Comptech just updated their website and the 2005 6MT Comptech Supercharger kit is officially out. I just noticed it this morning when I was looking for an extra belt

Just looked at my belt the other day and it looks great actually. They say it's good to carry an extra belt though. We are only boosting 5 psi, so I think we are fine. I'm thinking about getting one later just in case though.

Hmmm...was there a test vehicle? If so, who?

That means the '06 S/C can't be too far behind .

Yes, it is definitely wise to carry an extra belt or two just in case. It is actually cheaper to order the gatorbelt online from a place like Autozone rather than through comptech.

^^ Well I know that Honda of America gave Comptech a 05 TSX for development awhile ago. I'm guessing they used that for the test, but I don't know for sure.

That's funny -- they have a "small" typo on the 05 MT SC page:
http://www.comptechusa.com/store/product1542.html
Adds approximately 50 Horsepower and 30 lb/ft. of Torque at the wheels
Torque band is widened to between 3,000 and 7,000 RPM
Very linear increase in boost as RPMs increase
Impressive mid-range throttle response and top-end performance
Completely "bolt-on" kit requires no engine modifications
Includes tool to modify factory Fuel Pressure Regulator (located in the fuel tank) to the exact pressure required by the Supercharger, and a new Intake Tube to connect either the stock air intake or Comptech Cold Air Intake Kit
Utilizes the Eaton M62 blower, making approximately 5psi of boost
Tuning is handled by both the Comptech ACM (Advanced Control Module) and by a Re-Flash of the stock ECU.
ACM comes with complete wiring harness. No cutting or splicing of wires is required
VTEC is lowered to 3,000 RPM from 6,000, and Camshaft Angle is advanced to 20 degrees between 2,000 to 7,000 RPM only under boost conditions
Requires customer to send in ECU, Immobilizer Module, and Keys
50 State Street Legal, and CARB Certified for street use in California
Application: 04 Acura TSX (Manual Transmission Only)
Installation time: 7 hours +/-
Shipping dimensions: 29 X 17 X 12 (inches) (56 lbs.) (www.ups.com)
Further Performance Gains can be realized by adding Comptech Cold Air Intake Kit, Comptech Header, and Comptech Cat-Back Exhaust System
Other model year TSX kits are under development. Please stay tuned to the New Products Page for updates

When I saw this I was confused b/c I didn't even get a call from Comptech, but it is true. They will be released on Monday/Tuesday. Let me know if you need one.
