Hondata reflash ($565-595), DC header ($260+/-), Comptech springs and/or sway bar or Comptech Icebox Intake...
Save a bit more and you can get a decent wheel/tire package...
Performance or looks? What do you want? I switch back and forth because I want both!

Hondata, DC Header, Injen CAI, and with just a few more bills than what's left, lightweight flywheel.

A lightened flywheel reduces rotational mass (the amount of mass the engine has to get spinning) so lightening a flywheel will make an engine respond faster and your car will also accelerate faster. It doesn't increase horsepower but it allows more of it to reach the wheels. It's a great mod, but unfortunately will cost something like $500 in labor as the transmission must be removed from the engine to gain access to the flywheel.

I'm tempted to buy a lightweight flywheel and just keep it around in case my tranny goes, in which case I'll get them to bolt it in for free while they're in there fixing it.

Adventon.com has it for $269 plus shipping. You have to add the item to the cart to see the "discounted" price.

Edit: corrected url

Before everyone starts giving out recommendations, what exactly do you want for your car immediately? Looks or performance?

you can concentrate on certain areas or you can do a little of everything. you'll save a lot of money if you can install the parts yourself, or know someone who can for cheap. a flywheel for example takes a lot of work to put in.

I want a balance of both, I need to spend $1200 and then be done and satisfied, what would be a good balance of both performance and looks...?

Coilovers would be good for performance and looks IMO. 1200 will get you a fairly good set too.

Btw, a lightweight flywheel according to Comptech should take about 9 hours to install, unless your doing it yourself labor would put a huge hole in ur pocket...

Spend it all on the stereo

Like everyone else is saying: What do you want? Would you install yourself?

If you want performance: Hondata, Injen CAI, DC headers

For looks: OEM Bodykit, M3 lip spoiler, Eibach Springs

This is all assuming you can install yourself

I would try to get the Hondata Reflash and OEM Body Kit. That would be more than $1200, but make the biggest differences in terms of performance and looks.

OEM Bodykit = $825 shipped (If you can catch a deal/groupbuy)
Hondata = $595 (If Kindle Racing will still give you their special promo. price)

You could also get Tein Basic & Hondata, if you want a drop instead of a kit.

My take would be:

OEM Body Kit: $825 (Groupbuy Price)

Injen CAI: $225

Eibach Pro Kit Springs: $220
OR
Neuspeed Sport Springs: $160

$900 for some pieces of plastic that only slow your car down, and may or may not be attractive to you? Performance tires should be the first upgrade on anyone's list, since all the engine and suspension mods in the world won't help if you don't have traction. My list right now is:

Lightweight wheels: $900 used off Ebay
Performance Summer Tires: $400 from TireRack
Progress Rear Sway: $150
A-spec Suspension: $400 used from LannyM

In the future I hope to get:
Hondata Reflash: $600
Hondata Heatshield Gasket: $60
Injen CAI: $200
DC Header: $270

Thats about $3k to improve handling a lot, braking a little, acceleration some, and even a bit of aesthetics. The relative importance of those categories to you should determine how you spend your money.

and instead of getting just spings/shocks, i would get a nice set of coilovers, which is 1200.

How about Hydros and 13" Daytons with curb feelers?
lol j/k...

Good choice. I'd like a bit more power, but you can't go wrong with Teins and tints...

I guess that would be a good choice since the lowering will give a nice aggressive look but it will also increase the handling of the car. So I'd give a on this recommendation, though I still would go with my recs since I really dislike the TSX look without the underspoiler kit.

I like this too, you could probably throw in a sway bar too. Comptech or progress.

I personally don't like the body kit look, seems like it adds height because the cars is starting at a lower point. Maybe its just me, but I would save the added weight and money.

K&N typhoon- $200
Progress/Comptech sway bar- $120
Hondata- $600
DC Header- $300
(squeeze a little more out of your pockets and pick up the Hondata heatshield for $60)

(estimates)
