Call Comptech and let them know you're intersted in it. The 06 MT kit should be out soon, and the 06AT kit should follow.

I've only seen the 04 S/C only? Is there a S/C out for 05 or is the comptech S/C 04 kit for 04/05?

I wasn't expecting a 06 S/C until 2007 and I wasn't planning on buying until after 2008.

you can buy a comptech sc for the 2005 automatic, but you WILL NOT be able to incorporate the hondata reflash that accompanies it. power upgrade would still be huge, but it won't be as smooth or useful (lower vtec, raising rev limit). i'm thinking about switching to an 04 ecu and the subsequent sc and reflash myself ...

Tell me how it goes! I'm thinking the same way as well, but really i don't want to buy a new ECU and what else? the immobilzer too? And having the dealer to program the keys as well.

When I was down at Comptech about 2 months ago, they had just finished the SC kit for the 06. I'm not sure why they haven't released it yet. As far as I know they had it pretty much done. They usually try to find a local test car to put the kit on before they sell it to the public, so maybe that's the hold up

If you haven't already, call them and let them know you want it.

Sounds iffy. I supposed if he lived near me I could stop by and take a look at it if someone was VERY SERIOUS about it.

Yeah, seemed iffy. I thought it was interesting how the paper with it lists a variety of models. Maybe we should mention something in his thread if it doesn't look legit.

I think you guys misunderstood. The green label is simply informational to address the programming procedure if an ECU is replaced for those listed models. The seller did mention it's a TL ECU in the subject title.

I heard they usually prefer local people, but if you're willing to bring your car to Cali, who knows

I doubt they are monitoring the thread though. Just look the number up on their website and give them a call.

"I heard they usually prefer local people" *doh*

Actually the larger issues is figuring out how to breach away from my 60 hr / week job, get to cali, wait, drive back....and so on....

Maybe they could punt to a quality Houston installer???

In any case, hoping to understand the ETA of the s/c for the 06's...need more power.

s/c or 07 g35 ???
