'06 parts dynoed
I had time to visit a dyno today:
Mods:
'06 TB + bypass
'06 IM
Comptech Icebox + K&N Filter
UR Pulleys
Hondata IM Gasket
Power Rev Racing Gasket
Hondata Reflash
Not bad considering I do not have an exhaust manifold + exhaust system.
Cannot wait for the HyTech

are the '06 IM different from the 04-05? What difference is it? did you have any trouble fitting it into a 04-05?

From Hondata website:
* Radius on some intake pipes increased from 70-80mm
No trouble at all, it's a direct swap.
Power Rev Racing Gasket:
Best way to describe it, a secondary heat shield, the Hondata ones goes in between the head and fuel injector base, the power rev one goes in between the injector base and IM
So you have in this order:
[Head] [Hondata IM Gasket] [Fuel Injector Base] [Power Rev Racing Gasket] [IM]

I hope modding the '06 with the same parts as the older models would be deemed worth it, or would changing stock parts be insignificant. Any ideas of what parts I shouldn't change with aftermarket parts for the earlier models? All I have so far is an Injen CAI but I doubt that would result in any power loss from replacement of the stock setup. What about parts like the header, catalytic convertor, etc.

Wow, a stock '06 6MT puts down 150 ft/lbs to the wheels? That's a bit more than I expected...
Weren't stock 04/05 6MTs only putting down like 135-140 ft/lbs?
Also, any idea what type of dyno CGTSX was using?

Yep, advertised horsepower is crank horsepower, and 205 is a fair representation of it.
As CGTSX2004 noted, with a 15% loss conversion, that means the 2006s are putting out closer to 210-215 crank HP stock, even SAE corrected. 205 might be more accurate for the ATs.

Wow, that's a lot of power: Please list mods. I'm not 100% sure, but that seems like someting a J30 would produce. Any subjective comments about how your car drive compared to stock?

Hum...so how does your car hook up now w/ VSA off? Any traction in 2nd? Also, butt dyno wise: Where do you feel the most pull? On the high cam lobe (4800rpm+) or low lobe (<4800rpm)? At your current pwr level, is an LSD something you'd consider?

it burbles during idle, it's insane during WOT, and you can really hear and feel it in the cabin
it's not a comfortable street exhaust, if you're just looking for more throttle, it's a slightly scaled down race exhaust
if you want power without noise, look elsewhere

You can probably ask John to put in an extra resonator. It shouldn't affect the gains. Since he is a custom exhaust maker, shouldn't be a problem doing it.
Also, its weird that John wouldn't use the twin loop muffler that he used to use for most or all of his applications, like the integra, rsx, etc. Maybe you could request it?
Twin loop muffler would quiet or at least smooth out that sound big time. Mugen is an example of a great manufacturer that uses the twin loop concept in their mufflers to cancel out the sound.

Remember this is the proto-type, production one will be quieter, should be according to John
The twin loop won't be possible. I already asked.
