04 Auto test vehicle for datalogging needed

I need a TSX Auto test vehicle - preferably an 04 for doing some datalogging. It would take less than an hour.

Give me (Doug) a call at Hondata to arrange

Thanks

Not sure an Auto would be the first thing tested for K-pro.

I would lend you mine, but its an 05 Auto- which I hope you are testing for (even though its an 04 you want).

Hondata, are you looking for a stock TSX?
Are engine mods ok?

Just wondering.

05 Auto would be fine. I will be putting in an 04 ECU for the datalogging anyway. Engine mods preferrable but not essential.

Thanks

I have one in Escondido, currently not being driven. It is, however, completely stock.

I would seriously love a final answer if Hondata abandoned this project. Then it would stop everyone from asking.

But this question always get ignored.

LOL that's right earl.....its not like they are saying they want an 05 only for testing purposes.

And we should presume there is no KPro.... wont think it'll happen anyways since after the 07 tsx, it'll be a revamped car with perhaps a jump of hp to 220-240???

Thanks to those people who responded. I had an Auto 04 TSX pass by earlier today and I gathered the data I needed.

i can definitely see that hondata is ignoring 05 AT comments. not a single reply regarding 05 AT reflash. hondata, firm answer to 05 AT reflash would be appreciated. we're still waiting on your answer to "still working on it."

They are still working on it, honestly, isn't that answer good enough? Did you ever consider, that maybe, they really are still working on it and its a complicated problem? Would you rather hear that they just abandoned it? At least you have the 04 ecu option.

Don't you think their man time would be better spent on a KPro that WE ALL could use?? God forbid, and I don't want to put words in Doug's mouth, but that would be best for all of us.

Yes. No. Yes, maybe.

Since it is the only one of the six they don't have a reflash for, I'm inclined to believe that there is something quirky about it. There is clearly some demand for it, so, really either it can't be done or it's been deemed to be not cost effective. If they just came out and said we are not going to do any further work on it (and haven't been), maybe whenever the guy posts he won't get mobbed with questions that don't pertain to his post. Maybe. And I say this from the position of odd ECU out. I'd like to have it done, but can't justify the cost of that plus an 04 ECU. I think if you read between the lines, it's not going to happen. It's a drag, but that's life.

If they give a firm answer that they can't make it happen than I'll go with a 04 ECU swap even though it's very costly since thats our only choise. But Hondata is saying they are working on it. This is a very vague answer to every 05 AT owners waiting for a reflash.

Maybe people who wants the 05 5AT ECU reflash should put down their name, so eventually Hondata will know how much people really wants it.

That actually sounds like a great idea, but you should probably start your own thread for it, and it would get more attention.
