wow...such a poorly done tsx commercial

after looking at the other post, i went to youtube to look for the new "track" commercial. I didn't find it, but i did find this.

haha. that looks like a local dealership commercial b/c there's no 'Acura....Advanced' tag. frankly, that's not bad for a local dealership commercial. except the hideous last shot w/ the name and what not. better than having some dude standing in front of the dealership yelling about how great the savings are for the TSX.

TSX's don't get any love from Acura's marketing arm. Which is fine with me. It's like Honda's little secret. Most of my friends can't even tell a TL from a TSX.

For a small budget dealership ad, that's not bad. Plus, their action shots really capture a couple of very flattering angles of the car.

Looks to me they got the video clips from the TSX gallery from Acura.com
They didn't produce themselves, it looks too professional for a local dealer to make one.

I agree the spot was poorly done, but it is a local dealer ad. I use to work as a advertising Producer for Mercedes and I had to do a ton of lame, cheap budget spots like this one. I did however see an awesome new 07 TSX spot Saturday night during SNL that was awesome!

Gatorland Acura is the dealership I purchased my TSX from. Not exactly the best dealership in the world but it is nice to have one 10 minutes away if I ever needed a fix under warrenty.

just make sure they don't try to cram TL parts into your car.

Haaha, yes I'll keep a close eye out for that...although there is a few parts I wouldn't mind.

Not Bad of a commercial for a dealership ad. If I was at the editing room I would take out the parts of the song with the "Ummphs!" "Huhhh!" sounds.

But from a marketing standpoint, looks like they were trying to display the SPORTY Handling aspect of the TSX, (TSX carving turns).

Bottomline, I would have chosen a different song.

eh, not all the interiors were TL. The early ones were tsx, could see the MID style from the tsx. just the last long one, haha. lame.

why they would mix in interior and exterior shots of TL is beyond me. However, nice enough commercial for a local dealer.
