Would you do it again?

Knowing what you know now, would you still have bought the TSX(assuming you already own one)? Post how long you've owned the car as that may be a factor and if you would still purchase a TSX.

As for me I've had mine for 20 months and I am 80% sure I would do it all again knowing what I know now, 20% of me feels the S2000 would have been more fun

i probably would but not as much as before since with the next TSX due out in 2 years, i'd be more inclined to wait and spring for the new one. plus im tempted to jump on a S2000.

No question I would buy CG 5at/nav again, given the same circumstances (family, long commute, my own history 4 doors sedans).

However, if didn't have a kid - i'd buy an S2k, used NSX, or used m3.

What about no wife, no jumbo mortgage? Lotus Elise, and swap the Toy engine for a comptech supercharged k20, a Cayman, or the upcoming Z4 hardtop. Dare I say, save up and buy a used ferrari f355 and sell it after couple of months?

Somebody please wake me up.

The common thing to do with Elises is the a K20 with a jackson racing supercharger and hondata k-pro, it produces 300hp, which is more then the comptech and is the same setup as the Ariel atom.

I came awfully close to purchasing an Elise last summer, I just decided I needed to grow up and buy a new house, I have enough cars(I have 3 other's that aren't listed in my signature)

Yup, but I think I'd consider learning MT for the next TSX.

Had her for about 8 months now.

6 MT purchased 1/04. Wouldn't change a thing about my decision. It's the only car I've ever owned that I like better after two years than I did when I bought it.

Sure, there's cars I dream about and would love to own someday. But for where I am right here and right now, the TSX is the perfect choice.

I had mine since July 2003. I like the car a lot, but I don't think I would go with this generation TSX again. Normally, I won't buy the same model (same generation) again. I'm the kind of person who likes to try out new and different models. If the 2nd gen TSX comes out looking really hot, I'll consider it then.

95/5. I think I bought a little more car than I needed. I'm 20 years old (yes, I bought the car with my money that I earned, no one handed me this car) and I really think this car is better suited toward someone a few years older.

That said, I love the car, I love everything about the car (save for the dash-dimming dial that is awkward to reach). It's the most amazing car I've ever driven and I don't regret buying it, not for a second.

If I had to get rid of the TSX and get something else today, I'd probably go for a Civic, or maybe an Accord, but I'd hate to have to give up my TSX, I've had it for 3 weeks, I've put nearly 2000 miles on it, and I've loved every second of it.

3 weeks and wouldn't change my decision, unless i wanted to spend more money.

when i decided to go with FWD instead of RWD, that pretty much made up my mind. there is NO other FWD car i can picture myself in.

now rwd or awd, i'd like at volvo, lexus, bmw, etc etc, anything but VW products.

1 year and 3 months....and I'll tell you that I'm very happy with having with choosen the TSX (I was stuck between the WRX, TSX or RSX) but since I'm such a Honda head I choose the path of light...Although I am alittle disappointed in power and the attention of the aftermarket. Once I really start to modify I'm hoping the hp craze voice in my head gets healed. If I had the opportunity to choose again, I would def. go with my Pearled Passion .. love is a beautiful thing

I have purchased a new TSX .... TWICE. The second time I looked around. Looked at a Nissan Z and the S2000. For me, everyday driver, nothing could beat the TSX. The Z and S2000 are probably faster/funner cars to take out for a spin, but not a day to day car for me - could not figure out how I would tote around my golf clubs in either.

Yes, I would. There are other cars more interesting now, and within my price range, but the TSX has shown to be a very reliable machine, and an excellent value. I'm very satisfied.

99.9% satisfied. As someone else mentioned, the ONLY thing that bugs me is the gauge dimmer dial, but then again i leave it at "one tick from the top" and its fine unless I'm a bonehead and have my headlights on in the daytime. (I have DRL's anyhow as its a Canadian model).

Great car, VERY fun to drive, and with a few mods (RSB, CAI, short shifter, better tires) - it's really easy to get a big smile on my face on a daily basis.

No doubt I'd do it again, but this time I woudln't let the slimey @#$#^!!@$ salesman (may he get a terminal case of hemorrhoids) talk me out of the 6spd manual. I've had my TSX just over 2 years, 46K miles, and I'm always amazed at how it performs/feels. I've been in Valley Forge, PA for the last 2 months on a temp assignment, I came from Colorado Springs. Difference of about 6000 feet of elevation. In C. Springs I wished for more hp, but here, it feels just right. If I had 10-12 grand to play with, I'd trade mine in on a 6spd/Navi 2006.

As far as the TSX purchase goes, at times I am perfectly happy, but some times I really gotta wonder why the hell I didn't buy that Bentley Continental GT or BMW Z8 Alpina. I think of how nice the Bentley would look, parked over there in the K-Mart lot, or maybe scooting up the rocky rutted dirt road to Mt. Taylor at 11,000 ft, galumphing over tree stumps and sharp pieces of igneous rock. With my beloved sheep, Squishy, in the back. What was I thinkin'? Jeez Louise!

Or I coulda done towed my manure trailer over to Spriggs Horse Stables behind my BMW Z8 Alpina, loaded her up with fresh-scented road apples, and hauled 'em back to pappy at the old folks home for their Tuesday night flingin' contest.

Instead, I've gotta just be thankful that Sqquishy don't mind the trunk too much when John Law is out a'lookin' for preverts what is just kind to aminals, that's all ...

There, I hope I've left you with wonderful mental images. Got more where they came from, too.

Oh, and somebody let me know what the Maint. Required light means, and what color TSX to buy, and whether it's better than a BMW or a TL or a G35 or a Jetta, and how much you paid, and how to get a good deal, and everything else, all in one post so I don't have to waste my precious time actually reading any post older than 2 minutes. I'm with vwong on this one. The TSX is just a hobby for me. I like trying new things and would like to see what other options are available.

I took delivery of one of the first tsx's delivered to my dealership in april of 2003. I honestly wish i would have waited a little while and gotten the Navi. Thats my only tsx regret. There are times when i'm truly glad i went with the tsx, but i really wish i didnt have to deal with some of the "new model" issues i've (we've?) all been dealing with..

I have the car for 2 years now and knowing what I know now, I would still do it again but with a MT. The AT is fine but sometimes I feel its lacking a little on the fun-factor.

If I had to do it all over again, I would buy a 2006 TSX, RBP, AT with navi.

Wait that's what I have. Yes I would do the same all over again.

not trying to be mean, just a little confused, i guess.

I had my 04 for 30 months and I loved it so much, I replaced it with another one, except in MT.

And in all seriousness, I drove nearly all of the competition and not one of them provided me with the same balance of handling, luxury, and value at the price that I was willing to pay now. Couldn't find a better car for my money, basically.
