worried about warranty
ok, so i am ready to get woofers, but am worried if it will mess up the warranty? im thinking of just going to best buy, not sure yet. i would think that because best buy would warranty its products i wouldnt have to worry about it messing up the warranty on the car? bleh i am clueless on this topic, please help.
also, if i plan to do the whole ps2 mod goin, is there anything i need to know before i put subs in? like if that install would make the ps2 install more difficult or anything? or just wait and get both done at the same times by someone that knows what they are doing?
i was just thinking of doing a basic subwoofer installation with best buy, since thats what they mainly do over there, and something more complex like the ps2 install takin it somewhere more experienced?
suggestions needed, thanks.

The warranty can only void affected areas.
Ex. It may void the radio-electrical if it's deamed the equipment you install actually could have. But it's unlikely you would ever void say the engine-driveline warranty.
For sure I wouldn't go to best buy, I'd take your car to the shop doing all the local MB and Bimmers at minimum, to assure a quality install.

Needs more Lemon Pledge
I would avoid BB like the plague!!! Yes they have a lifetime warranty on installation, no they don't honor it. The warranty covers the install, NOT what they break in your car due to the install. I have had a head unit installed in a Honda, and it was the WORST install possible. What I mean is that they installed the HU in such a skewed fashion, that it cracked the center console in two places about six months later. Since BB did not install the center console, they did not warranty it. The install warranty covers only the equipment BB installs (if that!!, see http://www.bestbuysux.org/). Go ANYWHERE else. Ask your local school for the deaf and blind to do the install. You will have better results.
