Windshield Wipers

Well, SoCal is getting really wet and yesterday was the first day since I got my TSX (back in MAY) that I had to drive through the rain and use the wipers. It wasnt raining that hard and so I set the wipers to "intermittent" mode at the lowest setting while stopped. The wipers begain to move about every 4 seconds or so. But, when I began to go foward, the wipers would start wiping at slow speed! Then when stopped, they went back to 4 seconds.

I've never read anything about that here. I love it when I find new "easter eggs"

Sounds like a bug to me.. Wouldn't you want the wiper to move more frequently as you go forward?

I think that's what he said. Every 4 seconds at a stop and at slow speed when moving.

And if you didn't notice this before, whenever you come to a stop with your foot on the brake, when the brake pedal is released, the wipers make a pass.

Yes, it most certainly is. I had to drive down from the north part of San Diego county to where I work in urban San Diego, and it was quite an adventure. The streets were flooded everywhere. I felt my VSA doing all kinds of stuff and boy did I appreciate it. Living in SoCal, this is the first time I've ever had the opportunity to really test that out. It rocks.

Also, something is not an easter egg if it's documented... and the windshield wipers are!

Man...earlier this year, in February or so, I had an opportunity to see VSA at its best. Trying to catch at green light at a turn, I overcooked a turn and felt the back end starting to slide (it had been raining all day, of course) but luckily the VSA saved my ass and kept me from plowing into the Volvo driving next to me.

for VSA
