I'm from Texas, but I go to school in Rochester, NY. I saw the tint laws for NY state, which requires 70% of light through the film. Has anyone in the state run into trouble because of tinting? 70% makes it seem like it's not worth tinting.

I'm from NY and cops won't pull you over for tints unless they stopped you for something else. If you are driving stupid and are doing something else illegal and they recognize your tints your gonna get a fix it ticket. You also want to be careful by the tunnels, bridges, and where ever there's EZ-Pass b/c cops are waiting on the side doing nothing looking for people to ticket.
