Want to get my TSX tinted...worried about the Metallic Tints interfering with radio reception??? Anyone have this problem? (Don't have Navi)

 

Don't think there will be much of a problem. Only heard about people having trouble with the navi, but even that was fixed.

Only an issue with NAV - won't affect radio.

 

Your radio antenna is inside the rear window. Since tint is applied on the inside of the glass, it will not effect your signal reception.

I have tinted the windows and noticed that it just about ruined my AM radio reception. Not a big deal for most people, but I love talk radio.

 

I had 20% metallic tint put on my TSX about a month ago. The only problem I have had (so far) is that my AM reception is a little weaker, other than that no issues.

hmm never really listen to AM ever, only when there is bad weather or for a sports game. i should try it, but u said u guys did metallic tint and i did just the regular 20% kind.

I have a friend who was Army Reserve and just returned from Iraq. The bf of a friend of mine is currently deployed there with the Marines. Coming to the meet is a Navy man. If you can, do join us.
