Can i just replace it with this honda one with a compass display? If u guys think i'm wasting my money, don't worry, cause i plan to move my auto dim to my sister's car if this one fits, or the K21 with the Blue LED temp and compass display.

 

Should fit as I imagine the TSX and Accord mounting bracket is probably identical.

 

That's a good looking mirror.

I would think that it would probably physically fit, but I'd be worried about wiring. Does the mirror get the compas data from the car, or are the electronics all in the mirror itself?

The wires would be the first thing that I'd check.


edit: Definatly let us know if it works. I'd like to see pics of a final install too.

 

One way to find out If you're worried, remember that you'll be doing the forum community a service by trying

(OK, there are actually two ways to find out, you could wait until moda_way shows up and looks at both service manuals)

 

i'd assume the mirror gets all the info for the compass. I also wonder if they dim to blue...i wouldn't want it if it dimmed another color...

Not that it matters to me (navi), but my GF's 02 accord could really use one of these.

 

The mirror is sold on H&A for the 2006 accord (i.e. it is a factory option for the '06), and there's not one listed on the 2002 accord page, so I think there's a good chance that it won't fit an 02 even if it does fit a TSX.

 

My wife says I need to buy one of those stick up compasses. I think they look alittle tacky. This would be a great alternative. Let us know how it goes.

Does it have auto-dimming? Our TSX's have auto dimming.
