Why so many more TSX ???

Why is there, it seems, a lot more RSX than TSX ? I mean RSX did not come out THAT much
earlier than TSX, right ?

Someone got an explanation...well beside the higher price ?

The RSX has been for sale since model year 2002 which means its been for sale for about 3 more years than the TSX.

That should about sum it up.

1. RSX came out earlier as other people said
2. RSX are cheaper. the base model and premium model are much cheaper. Even Type-S is $4000 Cdn cheaper.
3. people who are really into playing a fun car don't want a heavy car, and a car that is drive by wire.
4. to buy RSX, you can minimize the chance of having your mother sitting at the back while you have you gf sitting beside you.
5. some integra-wannabe, and stick some Type-R stickers on both side.
6. some people don't like HID because they believe yellow light is more visible than white. (I think they are blind)
7. some pepole don't believe a 4 cylinder engine can pull a 3400lb cow. (not exact number, but 3000lb+. Don't flame me b/c it is actually 3401 lbs, geez)

........... can't think of more at this moment......

My dealer told me that only 15000 TSXs were brought to the states. He also said that 500000 Accords were made here. Thats a huge difference. Maybe the number of RSX is similar to Accord.

Your dealer is misinformed (or lying to you to make you pay more for what you would perceive as a "limited edition" vehicle. TSXs are currently selling at a clip close to 30,000 per year. 15K was just the initial sales goal for 2003.

The TSX has been outselling the RSX for several months now. The fact that more RSXs are on the road is simply a factor of them being for sale for a longer period of time.

Yes, but that's only because it's on sale for more than 1 1/2 years.

They started selling 04 TSX in April of 03. 8 months plus the 7 months of this year is 15 months this car has been on the road.

I'm just saying the 15K figure is long obsolete, even for 12 months...
