Why I finally drive a TSX...

I have been surfing on acurazine for several years and about two weeks ago I parted with my 2006 Honda Accord EX V6 6 speed and bought an 07 TSX. I will have a hard time ever visiting a Honda Dealer again and had a horrible experience with my Accord. The TSX is built to such a higher standard and the quality is superior to that of the Accord. I had already been into the Honda Dealer seven times and only had 8500 miles on the Accord. I am so satisfied with the TSX.... We are owners of an elite automobile! I will drive an Acura forever now... Thanks for all your posts I am glad to be part of the group now. Sorry no pics, who wants to see a PWP TSX with mudflaps, All-season mats, and a trunk mat?

Well at least it didn't deter you from buying another Honda automobile, Acura is still a Honda.
Did they bought the Accord back from you because it was a Lemon?

Anyways Congrats on getting the TSX.

The power....yes, but what even compares to HandsFreeLink, perforated leather, xenon headlights, and for me its the pearl paint...

Congrats on the new car the TSX is a very reliable car from what I have read but I think you must have gotten a bad accord because from what I have read too those things last forever.

That's unfortunate that you had such a negative experience with the Accord. It is a very well built car. My sister has about 70K on her '03 and has very few minor issues with it. Perhaps you were dealt a lemmon.

Nonetheless, congratulations on the new TSX

Congrats on the new TSX.....the TSX is definitely better built than the Accord even though they are still from the same manufacturer.

I hate to break it to you, but you traded in one Accord for another. The TSX is more luxurious and built in Japan (as opposed to Ohio), but it's an Accord, nonetheless.

Congrats on your new car, tho. It seems you got a lemon last time so I hope this works out for you. BTW, what was wrong with your Accord?

Congrats on the TSX. However, I suspect that the problems you had with your Accord were the exception and not the rule.

Congrats on the TSX, but I don't agree about the build quality being that much better in the Acura. I think they're pretty similar.

Regardless, congrats on your new car. They're a blast to drive

Makes me wonder what Accord and TSX I'm looking at when I hear people say the TSX is built so much better. I don't see it.

Doesnt a part of you miss that terrific V6? And you had the 6 speed with it! Its is fast and super slick. I would be heartbroken to part with my car.

I am sure this has been beaten to death on this board, but... Look on the UK Honda website, you will see that the standard engine in the Euro Accord is a 2.0L, with the 2.4L on a performance model only. Also, the interior of the Euro Accord looks like the interior of the United States Accord, the TSX has a much nicer overall interior package compared to the Euro Accord. You can also get a wagon and a turbodiesel version.

Stoke,

Please post what was wrong with your Accord 6 MT. I think a lot of people who read this thread are curious. Thanks...
