Another stupid kid who thought he thought he was a good driver. I hate street racers. I hope he lives a long, painful life so he has time to think about just how stupid he really is as he sits in prison. Hopefully they'll catch the other driver and let them rot in the same box.

That's definitely one of the worst TSX’s accidents I have seen, street racing is inexcusable, and driver should be punished to the full extent of the state law.

poor pwp, so young...he had an idiot as a driver.

^^after reading some of the posts on their blog, its not clear what role the driver of the white TSX had. Witness accounts say that the blue mustang driver was the "idiot", and cut this person off. He ran into the median as a result, flipped, and caused the mess that you see.

The fact that he was racing and caused the deaths of folks makes him the idiot. The mustang driver is guilty as well.

geez. not to be harsh, but what you reap is what you sow. horrible for all the people involved. pretty good reason not to foolishly race others.

I understand that, but the possibility that the TSX wasn't racing was raised on the blog further down the page, and that only the Mustang was driving like an idiot.

Hence, the TSX driver is possibly not an idiot, i.e. caused the death of many folks. I wouldn't never defend or condone driving like an idiot or any street racing.

But you nor I really know nothing at this point other than a report on a paper not local to either of us. I'm sure it'll all be hashed out in court.

If its true, then

<----------me, and the TSX driver was an idiot.

Keeping things in perspective though, big ups to the mustang driver for going to the police.

It's early on in the investigation. Who is charged and who is not at this point means nothing.

the car was actually worse looking from what they showed on the local news...they're about to say more about it in a few minutes...they said something about they might have found the driver who caused the accident..just waiting to hear more about it...

update...the driver of the blue mustang has been found and is being interviewed right now...the person who died was a retired sheriff...

Retired sheriffs have friends in the business - this event will get pursued by law enforcement as though the ex-sheriff were killed in the line of duty.

According to the news:

The driver of the car that smashed into the other vehicles was identified as Matthew Henry Borg, 20, of Orange park. He had serious injuries.

While it may seem that the guy that drove the Mustang went to the cops, it does not mean he did not cause the accident. If in the future the investigators find that he cause the TSX to lose control, he will be charged.

Someone on the first news link posted this:

chris Says:

this is bs the kid in the acura is one of my best friends…they werent racing…the mustang cut him off and he swerved into the median to avoid hitting him and he lost control…..so dont believe everything the witness’ say

Maybe the guy in the TSX was cut off...?

I feel sorry for those who lost a loved one, and for those (or was it just one?) who lost their life.

Oh noes! Some anonymous person on teh internets is insulting me indirectly by making a totally ignorable statement about the brand of car I drive!

That post wasn't even remotely close to being worth getting bothered by.

It might have been an act of road rage, where the two drivers are actually pissed at one another and going head to head, but from the other motorists it could look like the two vehicles are 'racing'.

Don't rule out the fact that the mustang driver could have made the tsx driver veer off to the left of the pavement, resulting in the crash.

On the last line of his profile, it says,

But Know this...I am the SHIT!

Yep, you are the "shit" for killing innocent motorists.

To access his myspace, click on the link above, and add the letters C F M after "index."
