Want to get my windows tinted on my '06 and I've heard that metallic tints can interfere with NAVI reception. Is the NAVI antenna inside the car or is it that "fin" on top of the roof? Just trying to figure out if I need to go with a non-metallic film or not.

Nevermind...I see in the Navigation manual where it says not to use metallic tint as the Navi antenna is under the rear window beneath the rear shelf.

 

The Fin is XM, I believe. I believe GPS reception is based in the car through the windows.
