When would they change the model?
First, Congrat for new 06' owners...and I'll be one of them next week,,, .
BTW, I read some articles say 07' model may be the full changed model.
You guys have any idea?
I was gonna pick up my PWP/EB, w/o Nav. today. But it was delayed due to the weather condition where I live. I kinda like the navigation option with Silver w/ quartz, but I really love the combination of PWP with Ebony. What do you guys think?

Burning Brakes
PWP/Eb or ASM/Qtz are both great combos. I am probably going to get the ASM/Qtz myself if RBP/Par doesn't win out.
The TSX/JDM Accords are not due for a redesign for 2 more years. The Honda Sports4 Concept is supposibly the concept for the next generation.

Hmm... well... i think honda changes their designs every 5 years. Usually on year 3 they do a slight change to the lights or the lines. I'd say possibly 08. Although in europe and everywhere else the TSX was an 03 model to start with. So 07 is possible i guess.

Thanks a lot guys for the replies...
I wish I can own this car more than 2 years without being outdated...
Anyway I'm still hesitating between PWP/EB and ASM/QZ w/ NAV.
Hard to be decisive...

The next TSX isn't supposed to appear until the Spring of 2008, at least according to this article:

isnt it kinda funny how they would put a 2.2 liter engine in the 2008?i would think they would try and boost up the 2.4 currently in there or go with a completely different engine then the s2000 motor.....

The Edmunds article makes a lot of sense, but remember how tight lipped Honda can be when they want to. In the final analysis, they're just guessing.
The car could come in the spring of 2007 (model year 2008) in Japan, and in the US in the fall? This would allow them to launch the next RSX (rumored to be on the TSX chassis) in the spring of 2007 (model year 2008)

from all the rumors on line, the next one will come out like spring of 2008.
that makes a lot of sense considering 5 years typically is the life cycle of a honda product. even a product that is a complete failure (which the tsx is not, it is selling more every year at this point, but case in point the prelude was basically a sales failure and lasted 5 years 1997 - 2001 models).
the 2004 tsx came out in april 2003 for america, march 2003 for europe, and december 2002 for japan. it was a 2003 "model" for everywhere else in the world, because everywhere else in the world people are not as stupid as they are in america and fall into this whole frankly retarded lets call the car we launch in april of 2003 a 2004 "model" thing that oddly we do in america.
anyways, if the new one does indeed come out in spring 2008 as a 2009 model that would be great. i would be right in line to get one at around this time of the year 2008 (so 3 years from now). hopefully it'll be exactly the same size, have a 2.2-2.4 L direct injection electronically controlled valve engine producting something like 240 hp with 30mpg and awd.
OR better yet, an awd one that is hybrid for that low end torque and 40mpg. i can only dream i guess. or maybe the 2.2 L 175 hp 52mpg diesel that europe gets now. that could be nice too.
also the euro and japan accords do not use the 2.0 L exclusively. the euro one is available in 2.0 or the 2.4, and i believe in japan its the 2.4 L with the heavily tuned euro-r 2.0 in the euro-R model. i think the engine shoudl stay at 2.4 or so liters, maybe 2.5 L. much larger than that would make it not so smooth for a i-4 because the stroke would be too long. it just wouldn't rev the same lose its "hondaness" i guess.

She said: it's GINORMOUS!
i'm betting honda will put out, just to trump everyone in the industry, a 2.2 - 2.4L HCCI engine!
yeah, naysayers will state this can't be done... but if honda can showcase a 4-cyl hcci engine next year...forget direct injection
