drive with the A/C on or the windows down?
I have to say, I'm one of those people who likes to drive with the sunroof open and the windows down.

i always use the AC so my interior doens't get dirty.
plus whenever i roll my windows down - the exhaust sounds so good that i always ending up driving too fast.

A/C on most of the year, 24/7 during summer (Humidity kills)
Even during winter season, I sometimes leave the A/C on to mediate a "comfortable" temperature (68-72 degrees).

I normally use the A/C because of the humidity here in Florida but it's cooler or a cloudy day, I love to open everything up and crank the tunes.......... Drigo.......when am I gonna see your interior lighting??

The TL guys were talking about this so I figured i'd throw it in here...the window/sunroof cooling method i find best for least amount of noise and highest cooling effect is tilt the moonroof and crack the passenger rear window...you will get a flow of air aimed directly towards your body.
And since its the rear passanger window only cracked a little and the sunroof only tilted, there isn't much wind noise...try it out

A/C most of the time since I'm doing a lot of freeway driving. If I'm doing street driving the windows down is fine with me as long as its not 85+, also I don't like getting my hair all tangled up from the breeze 
That's exactly what my wife complains when I rolled down the windows.

I'm with windows down and roof open. When the wife's with me, it's A/C and sunroof tilt (same hair factor dealio ... sometimes I open the roof, windows up, A/C on .. .that's a good combo too)
Either way, the stereo's pumping.

Plus, my windows are tinted
1) The 20% tint all the way around looks sleek on the nighthawk black pearl
2) Helps to avoid anymore scratches on the tint

I just leave the climate control on all the time with windows up and roof closed. Keeps the interior from getting really dirty. Colorado is really dry in the summer months and the dust really coats your car so I try to keep it off the leathers.

I prefer windows and sunroof since I'm not a very sweaty guy and I love Chicago summers. But if I'm heading to a party, or anywhere I need to smell my best, it's A/C all the way.

Just make sure you use your a/c every once in a while. Some suggest once a week, other suggest once a month. The issue is you have oil inside your lines that help lubricate the seals and it gets circulated everytime you activate your compressor. If those seals don't get lubed, your seals dry up and next time you go to activate your a/c system, the seals burst from the pressures of the a/c system. Some manufactors have even linked the defrosters to the activation of the compressor and you as the consumer have no control over it for shutting it off, for that being one of the reasons that people don't often use their a/c in the winter that much (even though the a/c system is a great dehumidifer).
My parent where cheap as far as I can remember and they never wanted to use the a/c because they thought "it wastes gas." For one, because of wind drag, using your a/c especially on the freeway, you're actually conserving gas rather than having your window open. I've replaced both compressors on their Honda and Toyota. The toyota ones aren't too bad to get to, but the Honda ones are underneath a bunch of stuff and a biatch to get to (which translates to you guys that don't have access to an a/c machine to, beacoup bucks for labor). Doesn't help that they where both R-12 systems and very expensive to buy "freon" for. Most systems now-a-days are R-134a refrigerant and I think it's only .35 cents an oz, where R-12 is $3.00 an oz, but a line or compressor replacement, especially in higher models like Acura where even I can barely 10% off parts, you may be looking at $500-$700 in just parts, then labor, + oil & refrigerant. Just my 2 cents....

when i was in socal, the windows were down almost all the time, especially since i lived in the south bay area. i still drive with my windows down most of the time here in houston.

I have tint but the best thing is the garage for keeping the heat down. My car is garaged at work and home, so it rarely sits out in the sun for long.
However, given the Texas heat and humidity, I use the AC almost everyday.

Windows up, climate control set, sunroof open. I'll close the sunroof in bad weather or on the highway. I almost never use the manual mode on the HVAC controls, I just set it to auto and let it do its thing.
