what was your break in point?

I've been hearing alot of people breaking it in at 600 miles, which is also what the manual says. Has anyone followed the traditional 1000 miles?

I don't think breaking it in is an issue with the car still running or not, I think it has to do with the long run on the durability of the car, doesn't it?

so I'm just a little over 600 miles now. Drove about 70 this morning to work. Did anyone rev their engine up after 600 miles? I think I might just rev it a little higher everytime I get into the car, went up to 5 this morning, might take it to 5.5. What do you guys think? Am I doing the right thing?

Listen, I did 90mph in 6th gear and didn't make it past 4500 RPM prior to 600 miles, my runs great.

After 600 miles, I use each of the three lobes on the cam regularly.

The engine is the best, change the oil on a regular interval, and ENJOY THE DAMN THING!!!

Great line.

"Have you used all your lobes today?"
