What would you do?(lipkits)

So to really finish my TSX off, I plan on getting a lip kit. I am going to take my time with this since I am trying to save up for a new place to live as well. I have a few options since I am hoping to get a 2004-2005 front bumper sometime in the near future.

2004-2005 OEM Front Lip
2004-2005 OEM Sideskirts
2006-2007 Rear Lip

2004-2005 OEM Front Lip
2004-2005 EuroR Sideskirts (can get these for a good price)
2006-2007 Rear Lip

2004-2005 OEM Front Lip
2006-2007 OEM Sideskirts
2006-2007 OEM Rear lip

My dilemma here is that the 2006-2007 rear lip doesn't flare out as aggressively as the 2004-2005 rear lip. To compensate, I could get the 2006-2007 oem sides or the 2004-2005 euror sides which aren't as aggressive. Or I could get the 2004-2005 OEM sides which would match the front lip better. Which do you think would look more appropriate though???

Since you already decided for the rear and front kit, please allow me to rephrase your question.

Now for the Sideskirts Should you get:
1) 2004-2005 OEM Sideskirts
2) 2004-2005 EuroR Sideskirts
3) 2006-2007 OEM Sideskirts

Now since you going OEM in back/front then you should go OEM sides as well
I vote for not mixing OEM with Euro

Now should you get 04/05 or 06/07
I vote for 06/07. it is more fatter and aggresive then the 04/05 sides

^^yes, it is more a question of which sideskirts I should get.

I actually think the 04-05 sideskirts are more aggressive since they flare out pretty sharply near the rear.

I just don't know if I should try to match the front lip and side or the rear lip and side.

i think the back and sides are interchangeable between years. but i don't think the 06/07 lip will fit the 04/05 bumper, and vice versa (i remember someone going through a lot of trouble to customize it so it fits properly).

i could be wrong.

'04-'05 lips kits only fit '04-'05 bumpers

and

'06-'08 lip kits only fit '06-'08 bumpers

but both are interchangeable within themselves meaning '05 lip on '04 bumper would work or '06 lip on '08 bumper

im running
04/05 oem front
06 oem sides
04/05 euro r

i bought the front then got sides from same guy who didn't tell me they were 06 but it was cool anways.

Had to finish it of with euro r 04/05 cuz oem 04/05 rear doesnt flare the same with 06 sides.

The only problem i head was 04/05 can't use front lip and rear lip kits of 06/07 because of the slight change in design, its still can work but you have to do some fitting. Some euro guy did it.

right now i am leaning towards:

04-05 front lip and sides
06-08 rear lip

what do you all think?

you might want to see how it fit on our bumpers your car im guessing is 04.05 but rear might be a tighter fit, try checking with others if they lined it up.

worst possiblity you custom fit it on or sell it.

Would the '04-'05 Sides go with the '06-up Rear Lip?

I would say go....

'04-'05 Front
'06-'08 Sides and Rear

BTW what are you going to do with your '07 Front Bumper if you go '04-'05 Front Bumper?

Just for everyones reference, here is the 04-05 oem kit:

and 06-08 rear lip here on clee's car:

notice how the front lip and sides on the 04-05 flare out towards the end? the rear lip on the 06-08 does this also, except the flare is a little different. Plus I am not too sure how i feel about the 06-08 sides, they do not seem to match the front or rear lips of either car, but that might be a good thing in my case.

04/05 front flows into sides
and then flares end of sides to 04 05 oem rear.

so in my case that i already had 06 sides i needed someone to mimic the flare which was 06 07 euro r rear.

modulo is the same as oem but jdm

do we know exactly what the fitment issues are with the 04-05 rear lip on a 06-08 rear bumper?

the 04-05 front lip will obviously not fit the 06-08 bumper period, but the rear lip and bumper are less obvious.

yikes, so many years and combos.

the 04/05 sides are definately more-aggressive looking. all together, they fit b/c of the subtle flares.

but i've never really been a fan of the open back end of the OEM rear bumper spoiler. it feels tacked on and doesn't flow as much. which is why i'd prefer the euro-r.
