I'm looking into another TSX again. 2004 6sp with Nav preferrably. CG or MSM. I've looked around my area and most of them are in the 24-25K range. I'm not sure if I want to get back into a TSX though. THe other car I'm considering is a 2k4 Jetta GLI. The GLI is about 5-7K less depending on miles and responds very well to mods. I definitely have plans to mod the car, but won't go to overboard. I'm only planing on keeping the ar 2-3 years until I can get into an M3 again.
Anyway, how are prices in your area? I have no problems buying from out of state (Washington State)

And yes I've looked at KBB but sometimes their not very accurate on used car prices. Some dealers like to javk the price up in their listing also and it does not represent what the car actually sold for.

A lot of advertised prices in NJ still seem high (24-25k), but I've seen some for 21, 22, 23k, too. I'd say anything over 22k is probably overpriced for a non-nav, as I bought my '04 in May '05 for $23.5k with 16k miles on it (non nav).
What's up with your M3?

I would also factor in the price of the unplanned repairs on the Jetta into the total cost of ownership. New transmission will cost you $5k... I had to replace the tranny (among many other things) at just 48K miles on the Audi A4 that I had a couple of years back. The Jetta is just as bad...

That's a one in 1000 type of deal. That's what warranties are for anyway.

And glad to hear your lookin to get back into a TSX.
Here in the Bay Area 04's with nav and 6 speed are roughly around the 22-24k range But it heavily depends on the miles and if its certified or not.

I'm still kind of undecided. Both cars are nice. The TSX has the fetaures I like such as leather, heated seats, and HID's. The Jetta has the 1.8t and looks that I like. Plus it's a less expensive car and more mode friendly. Plus it comes with 18" BBS rims already. Guess we'll just have to wait til our house sells and make a decision then.
Here's both of the cars that I've owned over the years:

I sold my 04 TSX in April for $21,700.00 and picked up an 06 GTI ironically. My TSX was a mint SSM, 5AT, Non-Navi with around 33k on the clock. I see know reason why you should pay over 22k for an 04.
