Stupid question...going to be doing the lexol leather conditioner and cleaner for the first time this weekend, do I need to add the 303 Protectant too?

Invisiable Glass is fine on tint.

Use a leather product like Lexol on leather and a vinyl product like 303 on vinyl. 303 is good but it's not a leather product.

Nothing will stop leather from wrinkling over time, look at any good leather jacket and it has wrinkles, that's part of it's character.

I buy Lexol at a saddle maker and pay 1/2 of what they charge at auto distributors. Most shoe repair places also sell Lexol.

I'm getting good results with the Mequires leather wipes and then a coat of 303 for protection after the wipes dry.

the 303 works great on leather also. its not only a vinyl protectant, and apparently its like "SPF 40 sunblock" for your leather and vinyl. i just bought an 8oz bottle of 303 from some hot tub dealer local here (went to the 303 website and looked for local dealers) and used about 2-3 oz on the entire interior of the car 3 days ago and my interior looks better than when i bought the car. at first i just wiped it on my dash and seats to see what happens and it left a really glossy shine, but i followed it up with another clean and dry microfiber cloth and wiped everything down and it got rid of the gloss but made the seats soft and smooth feeling and the vinyl look rich and nourished. used them on my rubber all-weather mats also and they look better than new (even though theyre only like 2 months old). i used 303 on everything inside my car except the carpet and glass. about 11 bucks after tax for 3-4 uses of entire interior detailing...gotta love it

btw screw armor-all for your dash, 303 beats the hell out of it

edit: oops didn't see the dates on the previous posts before...oh well

I was using Meguiar's as well, but given all the enthusiasm about the Lexol and the 303 protectant, I'm thinking of switching!

I use Poorboy's Leather Stuff, no greasy residue leftover and it doesnt make the leather shiny which looks tacky IMO.

Another vote for Lexol products. The cleaner/conditioner combo works very well. As for leather wrinkling, that's normal and what it's supposed to do.

I absolutely LOVE the Honda leather spray that comes in the $10.00 detail kit.

(They also have a pump can version that doesnt do the same justice!). The seats always come out supple and the wrinkles smooth out. I don't like the Lexol because it makes the seats tacky and noisy when moving on them.

You can order directly through Poorboys.
www.poorboysworld.com

Or autogeek.net carries poorboys pooducts.
http://autogeek.net/poorboysworld.html

Both sites have great customer service and fast shipping. I also highly reccomend Poorboys Spray & Wipe waterless wash. Its perfect for cleaning up your car in between washes, it can be used on the paint, glass, and even interior

Just be clear I think there is a Meguiar's spray and the wipes. I haven't tried the spray, but the wipes leave this really oily residue on your car that is difficult to remove. It took me constant buffing with a towel and several weeks before it dried off.

i use mother's reflections advanced leather care. it's an all-in-one conditioner/cleaner. mostly b/c i'm lazy and don't want to to it separately. works pretty well. you see dirt on your towel after cleaning, the leather gets a lot more supple, and your car retains that 'new car/leather' smell.

i also use 303 for anything plastic or leather (dash, doors, rubber lining, etc...).

i actually just cleaned the interior of my car yesterday.

I just did all of my seats with Zaino yesterday. I'm not sure how much protection it ultimately provides, but my car smells great!

It is expensive, but a bottle lasts for a while. I probably apply it every 2-3 months and I'm getting over a year out of each bottle.

There seems to be a lot of love for Lexol in here, but the Zaino users are more believable. I think I'll buy some today and try it out.
